TO ALL THE PARISH SCC COORDINATORS

My dear Collaborators,
As we have just entered the month of October, I hope that you, your families and all our SCC Coordinators and Animators continue to keep good health. Let us strive to persist in prayer and keep our eyes focused on the Lord, confident that He is accompanying us at every moment of our lives.
One of the characteristic features of the month of October is Mission Sunday (October 18). Please find enclosed a Paper for Reflection by Families, Clusters and Core Groups (prepared by Fr Shavito Correia, Director, Pontifical Society for the Propagation of the Faith, in our Archdiocese). May I request you to forward it to the SCC Coordinators and Animators, so that it reaches all the families of the parish, as well as the Core Group members. There are several resource materials also available for Mission Sunday on vatican.va and usccb.org.
May I once again remind you to encourage our Community Coordinators and Animators to have their monthly Core Group and cluster meetings using Zoom/WhatsApp/etc. It would be good to report at the Core Group meeting about the outreach activities undertaken by the Animators and to share about the needs of the people in each SCC; we are working towards realizing our vision of NO ONE IN WANT! You may ask your Parish Priest/Priest in-charge of SCCs for any points that need to be discussed during the virtual monthly meeting.
Please do your best to ensure that the Quarterly Reports (July 2020 to September 2020) from your parish reach my Office via e-mail by October 15, 2020.
