Circular - September 2020
TO ALL THE PARISH SCC COORDINATORS
Archdiocese of Bombay
My dear Collaborators,
I am writing these lines as we enter the month of September, hoping that you, your family and all our SCC Coordinators and Animators are keeping good health. I trust that you are taking all the required precautions to stay safe. Even though COVID-19 cases seem to be decreasing in our State of Maharashtra as compared to the earlier months, we continue to pray and keep our eyes focused on the Lord, confident that He will accompany us in the days and weeks ahead.
This month, we celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (September 08). It is also marked as the Day of the Girl Child. Although we cannot meet physically, we can celebrate the birthday of Mother Mary in our homes. Please find enclosed a Prayer Service for September 08 (prepared by Fr Anthony J. Fernandes, Spiritual Director of the Legion of Mary in our Archdiocese). May I request you to forward it to the SCC Coordinators and Animators, so that it reaches all the families of the Communities and Clusters. Please encourage each family to conduct the Prayer Service at home on September 08.
I take this opportunity to thank the Editor and Team of The Examiner for reserving the issue of August 22 for the SCCs; you will find a link to the articles, etc. on our SCC website mumbaiscc.in
May I gently remind you to get our Community Coordinators and Animators to have the monthly Core Group and cluster meetings using Zoom/WhatsApp/etc. You may ask your Parish Priest/Priest in-charge of SCCs for any points that need to be discussed during the meeting. Please note that September is the last month of the current reporting quarter. The Quarterly Reports (July 2020 to September 2020) from your parish must reach my Office via e-mail by October 15, 2020.
In conclusion, thank you for your consistent service in ensuring that NO ONE IS IN WANT (our Archdiocesan SCC vision) by translating this into actions of love.
God bless you and your family.
Yours in Christ,
September 01, 2020
