The SCC Steering Committee Meeting held on 7th March 2026 turned into a joyful celebration as the male coordinators organised a special Women’s Day programme for all the women present at the meeting.
The women were warmly welcomed with soup and elegant scarves/stoles, setting a tone of appreciation for the evening. The programme began with an energetic march past led by the compere, Sanjesh, followed by a fun spot prize announcement.
A special highlight was the cake-cutting ceremony, with the cake lovingly prepared by one of the coordinators and cut by the Assistant Parish SCC Coordinator along with the Zonal Religious Representatives.
The audience enjoyed a delighted musical performance by two talented children, including an energetic rap song, while the Selfie Point added colour and fun to the celebration.
Fr. Francis presented the Jubilee Cross to the women coordinators. A parishioner sponsored the gifts and all the prizes for the games adding meaning to the occasion.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, where the male coordinators were felicitated with gifts for organising the celebration.
The evening ended on a cheerful note as the coordinators danced to the lively “Masala Dance” song sung by Fr. Ryan.
It was a celebration filled with gratitude, joy, and togetherness — truly capturing the spirit of Women’s Day.
