The authenticity of Christianity is love-impregnated faith that incarnates in service.

The lockdown had halted the fishing business, and therefore many parishioners were facing financial difficulties.

To ensure ‘No one is in want’, OLPS parish initiated an Outreach programme to help those affected by the crisis.

A crisis always tests our character, not only as an individual, but also as a Community.

For centuries, St Michael Church, has been a beacon across the Mahim Bay to all those who venture into the sea for their daily livelihood.

Melwyn is truly the Good Samaritan and a COVID warrior of our parish. We are indeed proud of him. May God bless him and his family.

Gorai and Culvem are situated near the Arabian Sea, surrounded by greenery, fields and mountains; most of the residents are farmers and fish

The St Peter’s ‘Manna on Weels’ outreach programme was an initiative led completely by the Holy Spirit.

The lock down took us by surprise, but our parishioners and our Parish Team responded wonderfully and generously.

I have experienced the generosity of our parishioners during this pandemic. Many people came forward to help and support me.

Our parish may be a poor parish but it is not so poor that we cannot reach out to those in need. We believe God, in His providence.

We have eight SCCs, which are further divided into clusters. Each cluster has around 8-10 families with an animator.

The pandemic is a God-given opportunity to serve and to live out the motto "NO ONE IN WANT".

The COVID-19 pandemic and the enduring and punishing lockdown threw up tremendous challenges to the Church, the clergy and faithful.
